Stanley's of St Andrew's Street
I recently completed a Restaurant design of Stanley's of St. Andrews Street, Dublin 2, where owner and chef Stephen Mc Addle is currently cooking up a storm.
Aesthically I wanted to move away from the no frills industrial style that has dominated many cafés and restaurants through out the city and create a sense of luxury and occasion when entering the space.
Classical elements such as oak parquet flooring, brass fixtures and velvets are used but in a contemporary style to create an atmosphere from a bygone era in a modern setting.The centre piece is the brass bar.
The first of its kind in Dublin which will be serving port cocktails and prosecco by night and incredible coffee by day. The upstairs restaurant features antiqued mirror and bespoke green panelling creating a luxe and chic setting

I'm so delighted to have won Best Interiors Blog at this years Inaugural Image Blog Awards.
With delish canapés by chef Dylan Mc Grath at a place I know the Fade Street Social complimented by Prosecco, it was a fantastic evening, mingling with all of Ireland's top bloggettes, including the face behind the uber cool new brand April and Bear, the fabulous Siobhan Lam. But of course the cherry on top was clinching the much coveted Interiors Blog Award, so thank you all who voted! Much appreciated.
